welcome to MikeLoop's 14h newsletter.
Fall has arrived in Berlin, the leaves are turning yellow and it's time to brace for the winter. Fabian and I are busy working on MikeLoop updates, so here's what's been happening in the MikeLoop universe:
October Update:
Last month we released an example song for MikeLoop. We filled all loops with vocal tracks. You can combine them as you like and create your own arrangements. Play a drum groove with a bass line and chords from Matrix Loop and add a meldody with Simple Loop. Deconstruct your arrangement with Dub Loop. Clear some of the vocal tracks and sing your own version until you come up with your own song. But even if you just want to understand MikeLoop's loop abilities you can play around with the prerecorded loops and have some fun with different loop combinations.

November Update:
MikeLoop's Pitch Shifter received a big update this month: You can now pitch shift 3 voices simultaneously, therefore creating chords with different voicings:
You can tap on 3 different pitches on the keyboard to choose your voicing, and you can adjust the volume of each of those pitches. The created chord will always be parallel to your voice. It's great fun to sing in harmonies that way! You can also create crazy clusters by overdubbing several chords over the same loop. For those who worked with the old Pitch Shifter before: We decided to change the layout of the keyboard with the Ab key functioning as zero pitch in the middle of the keyboard. Let us know if you like this layout, we gave this quite some thought.

December update:
Our update for December will be more loop capabilities for Simple Loop. You can now choose for Simple Loop to play each loop just once and then stop. This comes in handy if you want to use Simple Loop more like a sound bank for short sound snippets, like a scream, say, or a drum sound. We plan on enhacing Simple Loop some more in the future, stay tuned for more updates!

Since this is the last newsletter for 2024 we wish all of you a smooth transition to 2025. Fabian are very proud of MikeLoop and its developement. MikeLoop has evolved quite a bit, it is now a professional multi effects device as much as a super creative looper.
