Second MikeLoop Newsletter

9. April 2023

Hi everyone,

this is the second MikeLoop newsletter.

It has been a month now that MikeLoop has seen the light of day. I’m still excited that MikeLoop is available to all loop enthusiasts, and there is so much more to come.

In our second update we add the All-Loops-Copy button. You can now copy any loop or track to any destination. This allows you to quickly transfer loops from Matrix Loop to Simple Loop or Dub Loop. You can also copy tracks within the same loop, therefore playing the same loop at different speeds simultaneously. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, it doesn’t really matter all that much. Just play around with the All-Loops-Copy button and you’ll quickly figure it out.

You can also watch this video clip:

By clicking on the video you will be routed to an external webpage (YouTube.com)

Our update in two weeks on April 23rd will be a new layout for Matrix Loop, allowing you to work with 5 Loops with 5 tracks each. If you feel like you need a specific layout for MikeLoop, please let us know and we’ll add it in another update. This is what the 5×5 Matrix layout looks like:

We will send a monthly newsletter to let you know about our bi-weekly MikeLoop updates. Updates may include new MikeLoop lessons, sound effects, new Mikeloop functions and other features.

I will also teach workshops and perform concerts with MikeLoop. Expect dates to come in by fall this year. I haven't played loop concerts in a while since I wanted to wait for MikeLoop's release. I prepared a new solo program and I'm very excited to present it to you 🙂

Here comes my first post-release concert:

June 3rd, Kulturpraline Tornow, Seestrasse 3, 15755 Teupitz

That's it for today-

try it out yourself – with MikeLoop!

Michael
